WHO I AM

Thank you for being open to my thoughts. I know my mind can be a bit chaotic, but it’s a work in progress. I understand what it feels like to struggle with self-love, and I hope to share my journey toward embracing my whole self. I remind everyone that I am a flawed human, and I never claim to be perfect. If I offend you, please allow me the honor of understanding and apologizing, as that is never my intention.

I believe that race, gender, religion, or wealth do not place anyone on a pedestal. Instead, I see us as equals, united in our diversity. As I like to say, “In the kaleidoscope of humanity, diversity is the lens that brings us into focus.” Our differences are the threads that weave the tapestry of a more vibrant and connected world.

I tend to lack the ability to sugarcoat things, and I can be brutally honest. If that doesn’t resonate with you, you have two options: Stay and share how I may have hurt your feelings, and I will respond with empathy and understanding, or leave without hard feelings—I understand that I may not be for everyone. There are parts of my mind that offend me too, and I live there.

To all the dreamers, thinkers, and feelers, I borrow the words of the late Shel Silverstein: “If you are a dreamer, come in... If you are a pretender, come sit by my fire, for we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!”
